I hate Commuting. What do i do?

-I hate commuting 2 hours a way to school. I worked hard to get in but now i hate it. Dormers have so much fun and im sick of hearing about it everyday when all i have is a 2 hour train ride to look forward to. My mom wont let me dorm. ever. Is there any way to make school worth 50 G a year as a commuter or should i transfer to a closer school?If you're over 18 she can't say anything about it, unless you are totally dependent on her financially. other ideas are to get an off campus apartment (with a job to pay for it if she throws a fit), with or without a roomate. or if you find a different school that has what you are wanting, then transfer.
Your culture and your religion would make dorming inappropriate - unless you are a renegade Muslim happy to break your religious laws
Legally, once you turn 18 you're mother can't keep you from moving out.



If you really can't dorm I'd say either deal with the commute or look for a closer school.
