Any tips for staying in the middle or your lane while driving?

-i am 16 and learning to drive. i have a lot down, but i know i have much to learn. One issue i have to confront is the problem that i veer to the right when i drive probably because i am right handed and write a lot. It is not intentional, but its constant and needless to say, dangerous. SO any useful tips of how to stay in the middle of the lane would be very much appreciated. You should understand the mechanics of steering. All roads are not perfectly flat, when on slanted roads the car wants to turn and you have to turn the steering wheel in the opposite direction. The steering wheel is not like a video game where the car only goes in the direction the steering wheel indicates. This means when the car is trying to veer off to one side the steering wheel needs to be turned where it visually looks like you should be turning very slightly but instead you are going straight ahead.
Being right or left handed is not relevant. You have better control than that over your body.

You need to look where you want to do and that is where you will go. You need to look as far down the road as possible. Wandering is caused by not looking far enough down the road. while you may have to keep some pressure on the wheel on some roads that is just what you have to do.

Perfecting this comes with practice.
If you are veering to the right when you drive it means you are a "hugger." In other words, you are hugging the curb, which is fine. If you are veering to the left (I.E. near the center paint) it means you are a drifter. Staying to the right of your lane is perfectly fine and not dangerous. Staying in the center is just something that will come to you in time (only after a year or two of driving).
Sounds like you need to check you alignment. If it's fine then get used to it. All roads have a crown so water goes to the edges, this causes cars to drift to the right. Just pay attention and don't drive like an idiot. :-)
You'll get the hang of it with experience. Try and focus on the lines on the side of the road and that will be a guide.
Having proper alignment on the car helps
